Default Problem with Radio / Record.

Hello,

I've just bought a 2GB MP4 in ebay, from HongKong. It's similar to this one, but in white:

http://www.buyanything.ca/mp3_player...ck_278x278.jpg

I've been testing it, it's real 2GB, mp3 works, amv works, radio is ok. But when i'm on Radio, if i select Record in the menu, it says "Please wait..." and then it reboots.

Any idea?
Thanks!

Lino.

May be a fimware corrupt, if still in warranty return to seller, if not you could try one from download section but BACKUP YOURS first.

azraelpc , try extracting, repairing, then re-flash your current firmware.

Extraction & Repair guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-ex...tool-vt66.html

Re-flash guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-up...ayer-vt46.html

See if this solves the problem. If not, contact your seller for an exchange, might be some faulty parts/connection.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

Have you removed the standard record folder? If so, recreate it. You might want to try a defragmentation of the player through windows. If to no avail, try if the problem is still if you record at a low bitrate, say 128 kb. If this goes try 192 kb, and so on.

Finally, i fixed it without flashing. I simply set the rec type to MP3 and it worked... Don't ask me why :P
