My mp4 player duplicates files with a .- before them HELP!

Just purchase a couple of mp4 players from Ebay and everythings fine except everytime I transfer an Mp3 or amv file or Jpg a duplicate file with an _. before it appears . The original file plays but the duplicate says format error. The files are no where to be found looking at the memory through the Computer . I can only see them when scrolling through the player. This causes the player to stop after everyother song or file and "format error" and resort to begining . The player comes from Synergy Information Technoligy Co. Has firmware 9.0.48. It is LSD_9301_10. 2006-10-31 2005-01-09. 1.5 inch screen. If any more info is needed please message me or if have solution to my problem? Thanx

thats really strange!

why dont you try deleting all the _. files from your player manually one by one.

otherwise you could also try this

Like deepakrr suggested, try FORMATTING your player and see if that helps. It seems like a corruption in the internal memory of your player somewhere.

It's Mac OS X adding the file to the player. More info and possible solution here:

I use Virtual PC to avoid this problem, but it's not ideal.
