Hello, the hack in players consist in you can copy more information but the player only store the real capacity of chip the rest of data lost, but the names of files remain :(

you could see:

first open you player see the chip's codes and use the guide to get the true capacity of chips: How to identify memory chips

then go to How to Remove Hack for instructions to remove the hack

belive us doesn't exist the 4GB players, all 4GB chips was buyed by apple, and the actual firmwares of the S1 players can only support 2GB

potterfan6, Sorry to hear it, e-britian is a known scammer and many people have bought his hacked players. You should file a complaint with ebay and paypal, at least you may get some of your money back.
