Default asking for help


i just got a mp4 from my father two days ago.. a 1g look like a nano ipod..
i put some videos and music.. but only some can be played.. others are format error... i read something on this site and figured out my mp4 is 108mb only... what can i do to restore the memory..?? and can someone help me with this site word.. like what does dead player mean.. i read some post that were looking for firmwire.. if i download the wrong firmwire what will happen...?? sorry if ask too much but im still new at this kinda of stuff.. please help me..

blackseven, Sounds like your player may actually have only 128MB of memory, there is nothing you can do to restore it either.
The firmware is the operating system for the player as Windows is to your PC. The problem is that there are 100's of variations of firmware made by 1000's of manufacturers and generally they are quite player specific. Changing firmware is not recommended as loading an incompatible firmware will leave your player unusable or Dead.
