Player restarts over and over
Hello everybody. I just got myself a new 2GB player just last week, the first few days it worked fine until 2-3 days ago, it started to restart over and over, sometimes and can listen to a few seconds up to 10 min of music, and sometimes I can’t even turn it on, all I get is the hourglass.
I tried the memory hack removal twice but it only helped for 2 hours. I thought the problem might be with the batter but it does not show it is recharging. Oh and I got this two times; after the player restarted it self the language turned to jep, good think I know where to change it, and after that when I try to enter the music all I get is “disk error”, and the PC asks me to format the player. ganja21 , likely i would think that there is some problem with the firmware or hardware.
Are your music files encoded in a fixed rate mp3 format? In this case, if the player is still under warranty, i'll suggest you contact your seller for an exchange set. As your player is v9.0.50, none of the tools here would work properly for your player. |
Re: Player restarts over and over
I do have the warranty but I prefer to fix it myself instead of waiting 2-3 weeks for a new/fixed one.
And I didn’t try to encode my MP3’s, I’ll give it a go. |
ganja, since you have a nokia battery type player, please try replacing the battery with a genuine nokia battery.
it solved my restarting and charging problems and hopefully it will solve your as well. |
Re: Player restarts over and over
Ok, I know I made a mistake, but I tried to update my firmware (9.0.50) with another (9.0.50), and now all I get is a white screen, but all the songs were still there.
After I turned it off I can’t even get my pc to detect it. Pls help. |
ganja21 , that's the reason why i advised you to exchange with your seller. You can try other v9.0.xx series firmware here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...mare-dc37.html
However, i don't think any will work as these firmwares have different buttons as compared to yours. The best option now is to contact your seller and see if he has any firmware to send you. |
