Default connected player to USB port but my PC didn't recognize it

Hello, after having problems with my older mp4, the seller decided to give me a new one. So now I have this Blaze mp4 1.8" inch screen (firmware version: B809K8V2.0 2006/11/17 9.0.50 2006/10/30). The thing is I connected to the usb port and and my pc didn't recognize it, I try to connect it on the other port and finally did. I started to copy mp3 and amv files to it, but it seems when the file is bigger the player stucks and appears an error message: ... File cannot be found, verify acess route... or something like that.
Besides it has problems while playing amv files or some (not all of them) mp3 files.
What should I do? I hope you understand my (very bad) english.

sek300 , firstly format your player. The guide is here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html

Regarding the USB connectivity problem, are you able to connect other USB devices to that same socket without problems?

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Hello Lattesurf, thanks for your answer. I followed the guide, did everything but I have the same problem (My player has 512mb, and after this procedure showed 469mb). And yes, I use the same socket for other devices and never happened anything anormal.
The transference of files appears to be very fast, then the screen freezes and the only thing I can do is to dissconect the player!
What else can I do? Thank you very much Lattesurf, this is a great site I've learned a lot.

sek300 , now after the format, does the newly transfered files still show the same problems as before?

Lattesurf, yes, it's funny, but after formatting the same thing happened! I'm seriously thinking to return the product because it's new and it's becoming a headache. If you have any ideas? I would appreciate your help!

sek300 , try using your older USB cable.

If the problem still persists, likely either the contact between your computer's USB socket and the cable has problems, or there is some problem with the player itself.

But most likely it'll be a problem with the contact. As you are able to connect and transfer properly on other USB sockets.

Hello, yes I tried that too, but the problem persists, I have a new usb cable and the older one, I used both and my player has the same symptoms.
I guess it's the player not usb socket or the cables.
I've already talked to the seller and told me he'll give me a new one next tuesday. Thanks again
Great site!

Default Re: USB Problem!

Hi to eveybody,

my 1,5 tft mp4 player usb connection does not work anymore! It has always worked, now Windows XP does not recognize my player, I can't see anymore the removable hard drive... the message is: unknown usb connection, with the usb icon in the taskbar (sorry about my bad english) instead of the removable hard disk icon... I think it's a drivers problem, in fact the usb cable seems to work, it recharges the player

Could someone help me? Maybe I should format WINDOWS, but I'd prefer to solve the matter in another way

Thans in advance

Ruggero

Yep! re-install your OS... If your player seemed fine on other computers then re-install your OS. By the way before re-installing try to install the drivers first then checked if that worked if still problem persist try to re-install the mainboard's software if still this doesn't work... re-install the OS! ^_^
