Get back hacked memory
 

ok... they f*#@.. us up, they sold us, less memory that described.... but i actual could but 4gb musik in my player before i formattet it.... now i only have 1gb... does anyone know how to get the memory back, to what i came with....

That will just f''k ur player up, ur Firmware will get currupted and S##!

You cant have more stuff on a memory than it is o.O

bizkid , being able to store 4GB of files does not mean the chip is 4GB. When your player was hacked, those files above 1GB does not exist physically. Only the filenames appear. When you try to play those files above the 1GB point, the files would be unplayable, have errors, or player restarts.

As nanocopyuser mentioned, a hacked memory chip would only cause you alot of problems. It might even corrupt your firmware and cause your player to fail.

Just to add to what has already been mentioned.
If your player only had 1GB of PHYSCIALLY storage, then it can never store more than that.

Think of it as a hard drive on your computer. If your hard drive is 80 GB's, it can never store more than 80 GB's of data. You can put hacks on it to show more, but why when it physically can't hold anymore than that?

You will only get more problems and headaches from it all unfortunately.

Think of it as a bucket, you can paint the inside of a bucket so that it looks like a deep hole but it will still only hold a bucket of water.
