the system couldn't detect my firmware size...

firmware version = 9.0.43

info from in the Mp3 player:

P.S- Where can i get other games for my mp3 player? Russia Block is getting boring and i can't find anything from the rest of the forums

Uhhmm Are you sure you've extracted the file successfully? Well if so... still system couldn't detect the firmware size, maybe it's incomplete like what happened when I tried to open the BIN file of my player version 9.0.48 using the s1res tool. It's incomplete because latest tool is not available for that version.

How many times did you try opening the firmware? ^_^



NOTE: By the way... anyone, I'm looking for cool games too. I want to upload something new to my player. Is it possible for me to upload games even if my firmware version is 9.0.48? ^_^

i've tried it quite a few times with the same result. the extract says its sucessfull but the repair returns an error

Ryo129, are you using version 3.1 of s1fwx? If you are then your firmware may not be a 9.0.43 but a 9.0.48 or higher. You will have to wait for the new firmware tool s1flash.

.::Lain::., It is not possible to upload games to your player. What is included in your firmware is all you have.

Oh I see... Guess I have to wait for the latest tools... >,<
