No Detection At All =(
 

Hello everyone, so my sister bought an mp4 and it didnt come with the right wire. Then she went out and bought the right one, but the happy ending does not happen here. :(

So then I pluged the MP4 into the USB port but nothing happens. No detection on my computer (which is pretty new and has Windows XP). The MP4 turns on but only has a picture of the mp4 and a computer on the screen.

I'm pretty new to this MP4 and wondered if anyone knew how to fix this problem...

Any and All the help recieved is truely Apreciated. :)

Zamitide, Is the player turned on when you connect it?
Does the player work OK?
Try it on another usb port or another PC if you can.

Yes the player was on when connected (i tried both before and after).
Does the player work OK: It has default stuff on it and works fine.
Try it on another usb port or another PC if you can: It still does not work. :(
