the directory or file cannot be created or copied

man, my friend was trying to copy the music from my mp4 player and erased it. i thought that was all the damage. but now i was trying to put more music on it and it keeps saying "the directory or file cannot be created or copied". any advice? please help me

sliddthekidd, Try formatting the player.

sliddthekidd, Connect the player, right click on it in Explorer and select Format. This will delete any files you have on the player though so save any you want to keep.
You could also try doing an error check by right clicking in Explorer and selecting Properties>Tools>Error Checking, select both options and press start.

instead of formatting it try delete some files of the mp4 and then put your music files onto it.
