ok i downloaded s1mod or something awhile ago. i modified my 9.0.48 firmware extracted with s1fwx. i edited the firmware and it actually works but can i put it on my mp4 player safely?

pmilladcs, It is ok I see in one of your other posts you mention that you downloaded the full version firmware from site, rather than extracting your player original firmware. You only need to repair an extracted firmware.

i extracted my own firmware aswell. the one i put in that s1mod thing is the one i extracted myself. i'm gonna go find out how to repair the firmware then

pmilladcs, to repair it place your dump.bin into the s1fwx folder and run the repair.bat. If you get an error warning then you will not be able to use your firmware.
