pmilladcs, you could try running easychips to identify your chipset. You can download it here:

o jeez. i didn't kno that. well there's a black chip that says samsung 64 k9lag0g08u0n pcb0
|
um is there any translater picture thing for the easychips it's all in chinese or something
|
is there such thing as a A00000600001 chipset. i dont think so, the easy chips program is hard to use if you can't read anything
the only filled in blanks look like this actions USB 2.0(HS) Flash Disk A00000600001 2.0 (480Mbps) 64byte {36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056-444553540000}\0006 USB#ROOT_HUB20#4&b893bd0&0#{f18a0e88-c30c-11d0-8815-00a0c906bed8} |
pmilladcs, Your chipset type will be displayed here:

pmilladcs, Ok the program may not be compatible with you chip type. You may have to open the player after all.

i opened it. i think i was i'm looking at the right chip. it says "samsung 64
k9lago8uon pcbo" i guess the key letters are "AG" well anyways i'm still tryna figure out which chip i have |
pmilladcs , that's the memory chip which is a 2GB Samsung chip.
To identify your player's processor, the best way is to open up the player and look for the processor chip's serial number. The memory chip is usually the largest, followed by a second largest chip which is the processor. |

elomda99 , are you refering to the Easy Chips software?
Unfortunately, it is created by the Chinese fans of the mpx players. So they mainly created it in their language. |

Re: opening up mp4 player
I have to establish the memory chip of my player with easychip in order to demonstrate that the seller gave me a hacked player...I started easy chip but it gives me an error about the operating system...it's in italian and it's like 'selected sequence of ordering not supported by the operating system'...what is it? Does easy chip work with XP?
