Problem with music list
Hello!!
I've a problem with my mp4 player and i don't know how resolve it! When I go in "local folder" of music menù, I don't see music list!!! There is 2 different folders: ROOT and RECORD and the list of songs doesn't appear ! If I press "ok/menù" on ROOT folder: nothing If I press "play" on ROOT folder: play music If I press "ok" on RECORD folder: I see a folder with "/ / / /" and if I press "ok" on this folder I return on Local folder!! I have put on the player 2 new folders with songs and if I press "ok" on one of these folders the songs doesn't appear, but if i press "play" the first song of the folder plays and I must change song manually to arrive at my preferite song! But, if i press on "delete" i can see the list of the songs! This problem is the some for movie menù and voice menù!!! It is truly strange, because an other identical player doesn't have these problems and the list of songs appears normally!! In this player doesn't appears RECORD menù in local folder of music menù. What I can make? (excuse me for my English) P.S. : my mp4 player is 1.8" black(display samsung) and the version firmware is : IS51096 ver. 2006/08/24 ACT_V3.5.35 Thanks!!! |
PieroDaCu , the problem with these players are that most of the v3.5.xx series does not support file-browsing. So you can only browse by the folder itself.
Some newer v9.0.xx series players has the file-browsing feature. However, it is possible to enable file browsing on the v3.5.xx firmwares. But is not recommended as it is a trial and error method and might brick your player. |

which type of Firmware should I insert ? how can I understand whether it is appropriated to my player ?? Thanks . |
i think you should not do anything as if you try to upgrade your firmware, it might kill your player.

PieroDaCu , as deepakrr mentioned, you should Not do anything to the firmware, especially updating of firmware. Unless you know what you are doing fully and know the risks involved in doing so.
What you are experiencing is not an error or problem. It is just an imperfection by the manufacturer as they did not include file-browsing in the firmware. |
