Default MY SCREEN IS FROZEN...IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO

I've had this mp4 player for about a week and after i overcame all the battery/charging problems, it was working great...for about a day. Now when i turn it on all i see is a blue screen with a sand timer on it. Thats all that shows up when i connect to the USB or charger too. Also, the computer isnt recognizing it either. Is there anything i can do about it?

did you try changing the firmware? because from what you tell it seems like you have a dead player.
