How to ADD a memory chip???
 

Hi all, I had bought a fake 4GB "chipod" with only 2GB.

My question is, did somebody add a memory chip to this thing?? because it looks like you can just "plug" a new chip on the board and let it roll.

I had seen a wiki on how to SWAP a chip for a greater capacity, but I couldn't find any memory ADD on.

yes would could just solder another memory chip into place.

you would then need to format the player to reconise the new size.

at present i think the firmware only supports upto 4gb so 2 2gb chips should fine

by the way where did you get this player from because the one i have seen only have 1 slot for memory

are you sure it will work? did someone actually did this?

yeah should work ok u wont break anything by trying and the latest firmware supports 4gb

can any one tel me whare can i get 2G chip ?
