Default help please for 4 ipod clones true 2gb


hi people ok here is my problem , i have bought 5 ipod clones and they are all true 2gb i have formated 4 of them as you do and they all now have the same problem (apart from the one i havnt formated)
basically when i go to my list of music it automatically puts me back to the previous album i have listened to
for example
click menue badly drawn boy
then i click menu again on local folder
then menu again
then it shows list of albums and puts meback to badly drawn boy !
its really pssing me off now and i cant find the answer looking on these boards so if any one has awealth of knowledge on these players please can you can me some advice

manxie, Enter the music UI and press menu, make sure you have "Repeat" set to normal.

i have tried that but it still wont work, is there anyway i can reset the player as to how i was sent it before formating it ?
Cant understand why this is happening ?

its doing my friging head it ! aaaarh

manxie, While it would appear that the format has caused the problem I am at a loss to understand why. Having done many formats I have never had any difficulty as you discribe. Did you do a Fat format or a Fat32?
What version firmware are the players using?

Try This go to the folder where the song are and then hold the menu button down till its goes back to the songs.

I did a normal format and the firmware version is 2093 and
9.0.51.000
Anything i could try ?

Its so weird as the players are different models and the same thing is happening ?

I just done a normal format like it tells you on this site and many other

i forgot to mention

i was exprimenting putting the music on and it doesnt hapen until i load on about 5 albums

But they all definetly has 1.9mb as i can fill them up and they playfine apart from this munu thing
please help
