Default Computer Won't Read MP3 player, Calling Tadad and others

Hello all,

Well my wifes first chi-pod got stolen and she misses it, so I bought her a very pretty bright blue one from New Jersey again. This is one of the 2nd Generation Chi-Pods.

I'm having a lot of trouble with it. My computer pretty much won't read it. When i plug it in it recognizes it, and calls it the H:// however I get an error message every time I try to copy a song or album to it.

"Cannot Create or replace YOURSONG: Cannot find the specified file.

Make sure you specify the correct path and file name."

I've downloaded and tried to run the MP3 Disk Player Manager Tool to format the MP3 player, Once again at first it recognizes it, but then I get an error and it says it's not there.

Any thoughts or advice on how to format this sucker and get it running???

FYI ... Firmware is
ACT2097_S72_1

9.0.49

Thanks in Advance !!!!

FourJacks, Try another USB cable there may be a problem with the one you are using.
