[SOLVE] How to play video on Aosta DV680

Im not a tech kind of girl all i know is this is supposed to be a digicam with media player that plays mp3 and video i have no problem putting mp3 i love music the problem is when i tried putting mp4 video it doesn't show anything? i tried converting it to quicktime avi but it only shows its thumbmail view but when i try to play the player freezes?

It says it plays mp4 but when i put mp4 files it says file error? I think its made from china so i tried AMV still nothing? I tried reading from this forum similar problem still im clueless?

Help! its killing my brain!

thanks in advance

most mp4 players dont play mp4 files and since yours doesnt play even amv files, it maybe a rockchip player that plays avi files.

try this to convert your files and then see if it works

FOOL , your player might be running a Sunplus chipset as it has a video recorder.

Try recording a video clip with the camera, does it play correctly on the player?

Yes i can record video with it and plays ok, my only problem is i also wanted to watch mini clips or music videos i just don't know what kind of video format it plays with? hmmm i have read similar problems in this forum some says if its made from china hongkong or taiwan its probably AMV i tried converting to amv but the player doesn't read it but when i convert it to avi quicktime the player reads it and it shows it thumbmail view but when i play the player just freezes?

thanks guys i really appreciate all your help!
By the way whats a Sunplus chip and if ever what video format does a Sunchip player recognize? i tried converting nearly all video format either file error or nothing?

I tried converting it to amv the player doesn't read it
I tried converting to avi according to deepakrr the player reads and show its thumbmail but when i press play the player freezes.

I think its similar to theose mp4 player with 2mp camera, it also records videos and capture still images and its made form china i think?

FOOL , try encoding your videos to .AVI with XVID codec. Resolution at 320x240 30FPS.

Set to these settings and encode, then try to play on your player again.
