E Books!

How to start e books on mp4 player, i put some pdf files on my player but when i try to open it, it`s says that there are no e books found...

@bih_finest
I might be wrong but pdf is not a readable file. I guess those e-books should be in another format, however I might be wrong as my MP4 has not arrived yet... I've only read forums yet.

They Must Be in Txt files

deepakrr 12th Feb 2007 10:19 pm

as joecool said, these players support only txt format.

if you have a pdf file, just press CTRL+A to select all, then copy it and paste it in Notepad and then save it as a txt file.

Note, you can get a PDF to Text converter. But unless you hvae a good sized screen, yer probably not gonna be all that jazzed about reading full size books on your player. YMMV.

Seems like the players don't employ any kind of text formatting (i.e. wrapping the words to take account for the edge of the screen)

Maybe it's just mine, or maybe I didn't delve into the options deep enough.

all the mp4 players are like that Slakker. the ebook function is not properly developed and the txt files appear very messy on the screen as there is word-wrap.
