ms mp401 can not connect to my computer

I have a MS MP401. I can not conect to my comp. How i can put the new firmaware, or where i can find drivers ?

What operating system are you using?
If you have Windows 2000 or newer, Windows will detect it straight away without the need to install drivers.

If you have Windows ME or 98, you will need the drivers.

When you try to connect it to your computer, what do you see on your computer?

Hi, I think I have the same mp3 player and with the same problem.
I've successfully removed the memory problem following the instruction on this site. Then, I've tried to update the firmware using the 3.5.37 full merged version.
Now it's impossible to use my player becuse the display doesn't show anything and my pc doesn't recognize the disk type. Same thing with the Upgrade firmware tool that says to "reconnect device".
The previous firmware was identified as:
LSD_5101_03
SDK: V35.37
2006-8-15

What can I do?
