Default Corrupt Files - Menu Problems

I have a fake 'I-pod nano 4GB' as seen on ebay. I have added a load of albums on it in the following format of folders:

Artist (Folder)- Album Title (Folder in Artist Folder) - Songs (Files)

Now when I navigate back to the list of Artists (Folders) I cannot scroll through them it just jumps straight back to the player - Any ideas why or how to stop it?

I also have a folder I cannot delete says it may be corrupt or damaged any ideas what do do?

Any help will be much appreciated!!

StarvinMarv , i'll suggest a format on your player first, but backup the music/video files first, as the format will wipe out your memory chip. The guide is here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html

When you load the list of artists, does it take a long time to load?

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Yeah takes a little while to get back to the list of artists - then you try to move up or down the list and it flicks straight back to the player?

StarvinMarv , i would not suggest any firmware updates and it would most likely brick your player.

Regarding the song list, it seems that on some players there is a problem with this. As the load time takes quite long, by the time the list is loaded, it times-out and reverts back to the main menu or music player.
