I bought 1 mp4 player ( 4gb ) , two days ago the mp4 arrived to me.
I need to backup my firmware.

I read all the Knowledge Base...

I used:

Bugmenot-User... If you look closely, it says your firmware version is "9.0.48"

s1wfx isn't capable of extracting your firmware version and s1res can't modify it.

Best you enjoy the mp3 player for what it can do for now. Don't worry though, a version of s1fwx is is currently in development to extract 9.0.48 and should be out in the next few months.
I'd also advise just running the firmware hack check to make sure your mp4 player truly is 4GB

cheers

Bugmenot-User, Looking at the 2 different capacity figures I would say that your player is hacked and has only a 1GB memory chip. If it were a true 4GB player the capacity would be the same in both tabs.
