Computer shows drives but 0 space

Hi,

I have just got my player. It is a rockchip thing with SD card slot. It works fine but when i plug it to the computer a "E" and "F" disk shows up in my computer with "0" space! And I cant see the files which are on the player and can't send anything to it.Is it dead?

try changing the setting in the player.

go to system/settings. then to Online Mode and select Normal Only

see if it works. otherwise you may have to format your player using the MP3 Player Disk Tool and set the encryption bar all the way to the left :)

In the settings/system menu i have no other options than Language About and Upgrade funnily enough. The disk tool does not detect the player so I can not format it. The pc says it has a RAW file system. I tried to disable it from device manager than enable, update the driver, and everything i could think of still nothing! Shall I send it back?

I still do not understand! Where are the files stored on the player?????????????????????????

And what the devil is going on?

If it is like my rockchip player you have to format the E: drive and I think the F: drive is for the mini SD-card.

IF you mean the system files.... they are hidden.... !

If you have any problem with your player... and I see you DO HAVE.... send it back... YES ! do it be4 something wents wrong...

scarabeus79 , you may need to partition your player's memory drive first.
Right click on My Computer and select Manage.
Next go to Disk Management, and locate your player's drive on the right screen.
Right click on the drive and select either Format or Partition.

Hi,

God bless you all for your help guys!

I kept on trying and sometimes something happens and everything works as it should always do. The windows recognizes the player I can transfer files to it. And than when I unplug it it won't work next time when i plug it in again. I get an error message:

" One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.Try reconnecting the device. If Windows still does not recognize it replace the device!"

I have some screenshots, but do not know how to insert a picture here!

Any idea?

Hi guys,

Thanks for your help, new things turned out! As I managed to send some files to the player, and started to play an MP3 I realized that the playback speed is too fast. It plays back a 3 minutes long song in 2min 50seconds! And once you are listening one of your favourite songs...and no speed adjust option:-)And the FM radio starts distorse at the half volume level, though the output level is still very low.

So I'll send it back, no further action will be taken!

Thank you all!
