Chinese MP4 - HELP on menu navigation

[font=Verdana][size=12]
I just bought one of these black OEM MP4 players on eBay, I think its a Fake model - It has the following controls. Menu at Top, Vol at Bottom, Fast Forward and Back on the sides and Play/Pause in the centre. Is there anyone out there who can point me in the direction of a decent set of operating instructions?
Being just the wrong side of 60 all this carry on about storage space is not so much a problem for me. The fact that I can get a few Rock n' Roll LPs on there and listen to FM radio for under £30 is magic. My problem is the "chino-english" manual I'm sure this player will do amazing things if only I could understand it.
Another point the BATTERY; the unit works fine but the battery indicator at the bottom of the screen, looks like a bottle with no fluid in it even though it is been connected via a USB lead - does this mean it has no charge? Then why does it work?
Any help will be much appreciated

BonnyMP4 , you should be able to find a suitable manual in the downloads section here http://www.mympxplayer.org/documenta...nuals-dc5.html

They are all generally about the same, perhaps the difference would be the screen images.

Depending on your firmware version number, you could perhaps do an extraction, repair, re-flash, and maybe the battery problem might get fixed.
But if the version number is higher than v9.0.43, then you can't really do anything as the tools does not support any higher.

Also, do not do any firmware updates as it would likely brick your player.
