Disconnect the player from the pc, browse to the adfu inf file, rightclick and choose install. Restart the computer with the player attached, and see what gives.

Wow, I've never heard of Windows shutting down after you specify the driver to install!

Is there another computer you can it this on? It will then give us a better idea whether it's a problem with Windows itself than the player.

I have the same problem with my LG fm37 4Gb. The PC restarts everytime; I'm using XP SP3. Is there some other driver or something??? My player is stuck in rebuilding library screen after I have uploaded a huge video file on it (2Gb) by a mistake. Need help!!!

Hi armin,

Have you tried a different USB cable to see if that helps? I wonder if a faulty USB cable is causing the crashing problem as it's not getting detected properly.......

nah, the cable is OK, it was working fine before and I have tried other cables. I need the right driver and software for LG mp4 players.
