Default how do I extract my firmware or is it even possible?

Hey guys, I am new to this wonderful forum! I bought the Aufka MP-250 PMP 256MB from ebay found here:
http://auctions.overstock.com/item/15722056?nsa=1

That's my exact model except the screen of the GUI is much sleeker than mine!! I cannot find a more recent firmware for it.

My question is: how do I extract my firmware or is it even possible?
I used the files in the guide and it said "No device detected." I rebooted, tried on another XP machine and I get the same message. Does it mean I can't exact my firmware? Anyone know where to get a more up to date one or can tell me more about my PMP?

I found a pic of my exact menu gui! It looks exactly like this menu:

I read over that thread and I guess its impossible for me to edit my firmware.
