malay.keshav , try running MP3 Utilities Disk Tool and see if it detects your player. Then perform a format, the guide is here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

OMG! THAT'S THE PROBLEM I'VE BEEN HAVING!!

Also, I noticed how we have the same firmware. Who did you buy it from? Try buying a new usb cord at a electronic store nearby. It should help. I just got mine and it stays connected (although it still won't let me extract my firmware).

If the screen ever goes blank, reconnect the player and it should show again. Mine does it every so often.. but it hasn't done it as much as with my old usb cord.
