If the MP3 Upgrade Tool doesn't detect your player, then chances are that your player might use a different chipset - such as Sunplus or Sigmatel based board.

The MP3 Upgrade Tool will only work with ACTIONS chipped based players.

trotro , open your player, what is the chipset's number (eg ATJ2085, ATJ2091, ATJ2097, etc)?

i have the same problem. And i know that i have Sigmatel based board.

So how to make firmware upgrade to this one? I want to make upgrade beacuse my mp4 dont play different bit rate songs.... and also it does not detect video files.

so can anyone help me? i need to make firmware upgrade to Sigmatel based board.

right now my firmware is 2.600.600

Tuuling23 , if your player is working properly, do not do any firmware upgrades as it would most likely brick your player. Sigmatel players once bricked are extremely hard to recover and usually need to be sent back to the manufacturer to reset.

well its not working as it should be... It does not play different bit rate songs and does not detect video files or pictures.

i would like really watch videos or pictures with it.... can anyone help? i was told that firmware upgrade wil help.

Tuuling23 , what do you mean by "different bit rate" songs? Are you referring to VBR mp3s? Some players are unable to play VBR encoded mp3s properly, so i'll suggest you re-encode these files to a fixed bitrate like 128 or 192kbps.

For video files, you'll need to encode it to the required screen size, codec, fps as set by the player.

so all those required things should be written in manual right?

maybe i have accedently deleted some files.... can this be a problem?
