i need help please and what do you mean by a hacked mp4
 

sorry if this is in the wrong place im new... i have got an mp4 player 4gb
i cant get the install disc to work because it does not make sence. also when i connect the usb to comp and mp4 it just shows ZZZZzzzzzZZZZzzzzZZZZzzzz between the 2 as if it is in sleep mode. is their any install discs that you just have to click install to get it to work


please help if you can

this is written on the big chip theirs lso a small chip

rickeys16v , according to your memory chip serial number, the Samsung k9lago8uom is a 16Gigabit (2GigaByte) chip. So your player has been hacked, unless you have 2 of such chips on the board.

I'm having exctly the same pronblem. only mine's only a 1gig. Can't even follow the instructions posted on here. because therz nothing there!! tried installing the driver....nothing.... tried using my house mates computer, which alegedly doesn't need a driver installed.....still nothing. Comptuer just says pathway is incorrect. argh!!!!

u need to format ur player...with mp3 player utilities(any versions)..usually this software will be provided in cd when u buy mp4...the tool to a low level format is called
mp3 player disk tool...

my firmware was same
can u or somebody else give me link of that firmware pls

i bought a clone off ebay, a 4GB. its real 4GB. super fast even with 3.3GB on it. its awesome.
