Re: USB device not recognised in Windows xp

I hav never tried such things like upgrading. I know it will only improve the display quality & loading time. I noticed one thing while connecting my mp4 to pc. It is showing the indication that it is connected & is charging. But after connecting this to pc some 2 hrs there is no improvement in battery level. But the cable is working well with power adapter. I am in big confusion. Is it the cable problem or mp4 player problem? Any help.......

What you need to do is try another cable,or used that cable on another mp3 player and see if it detects it,also plug directly into the usb port on the computer and don't use any hubs.

Re: USB device not recognised in Windows xp

Finally i have changed the cable......but still the same problem. So i decided to open the player to check whats wrong with it and i got the answer too. Yes. It is the soldering problem between the plug connector and pcb board. Since the soldering is a minute one i am not able to do that manually. Is it possible to repair it or otherwise i have to buy a new one?
