lgf26 , it is recommended Not to upgrade any firmware related to Sigmatel players. There are very limited firmwares & tools available on the internet. Once bricked, you will have a very hard time trying to recover it. Usually these players needs to be sent back to the factory to be reset.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
