problem with 4g me2

Hey everyone, I have just recieved a 4gig chinese mp3 player, and thanks to the great info on this site i was able to check its true capacity. By the sounds of things I am one of the lucky ones out there because mine is no fake. Well its not 4 gig but 3.82 is close enough. The funny thing is I actually only ordered a 2gig player?!?!

Anyway I've had it for a little over a week now and ive just come across a new problem. When I access the menu now everything is fine until I get back to the ROOT directory, then it seems I cant scroll up or down, It just goes straight back to the song i was listening to. This is very frustrating as the only way to navigate is to manually scroll through each song.

My player is a 4gig me2 mp4.

Does anyone have a fix for my little problem???
