2GB player accepting only 300 MB.

I have bought a Chinese Sony mp4/amv/rec/fm player (2GB). But when I am downloading into it, it accepts only 300 MB of data. I asked the seller and he told me that all these players are like it. It shows something and gives something. Is it not cheating? 300 Mb for 2GB.

Had a similar problem with mine, Have you tried to create seperate folders for differnet this? This seems to have worked for me.

You might have bought a hacked player.
