how to get player info

i recently came into posession of a clone of an Ipod nano. all black, no writing on the front, no model number or anything. I the board says "B803 V2"
the player boots to a dead screen, windows does not recognize it. I assume i need to re-flash the firmware, but I have no idea which firmware it needs/supports. I've been browsing here for a while, and havent been able to find anything helpful.

Thanks

forceofhuha , you'll need to open the player and identify the processor's serial number (eg ATJ2085, ATJ2091, ATJ2097).

For the ATJ2085, you'll need the v3.5.35 or v3.5.37 firmwares.

For the ATJ209* series, you'll need the v9.0.43, v9.0.48 or v9.0.50.

These firmwares can be downloaded from the downloads section.

If the Upgrade Tool does not reconigse your player, then you'll need to perform the Dead Player Recovery Guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-play...ide-vt567.html
