Default Probably a simple solution...

So I was stupid and bought a hacked player, I have NO idea what brand it is, when I bought it was advertised as samsung, but the manual nor the player says samsung and the manual is in the WORST english, so I cannot understand it.

What I want to know is how to browse through my music and also how to play ALL of it on a shuffle. I can't figure it out and the player is going to increadibly slow.

I have NO idea what firmware is, just so you know, or how to use it or any of that, so I'm completly lost.

Thanks

Oh, I guess it is actually 4 GB, I did the thing that would unhack it, but it still says it's 4 GB, and I followed the instructions to the T, so now I just want to know how to go about shuffeling it all

_Kate_ , Samsung as advertised i would presume that it would be the memory chip manufacturer as most players uses either Samsung or Hynix.

Regarding shuffling, you can only shuffle the songs within a stored folder. You can't shuffle between folders. There were feedbacks from other members that by storing all your songs in the Root folder (ie no folders), you would be able to shuffle everything within the Root. However, some players have a limitation of 99 songs per folder, and some 99 limit for the Root. So i'll suggest you try it out and see if it works for you this way.

It is usual for a 4GB player to operate slow, as reported by others.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
