Default sooooo sloooooowwwww

Why do the manufacturers insist on this stupid fade in and out when you want to skip ahead a track, if im on track 2 and i want to get to track 10 say, is there anyway of getting there without listening to 8fade in and outs. ive looked through all the options and cant find how to turn it off. its bloody stupid and very annoying. whats even more stupid is that it performs the fad out and there is still a silent pause whilst it caches the next track, unbelivable!!!!

also is there a firmware that is quicker, this is sooooo sloooooooooow

My player is from ebay:

Fairly simple if your player has a file browsing function.
Just stop the music with the pause/play button and then press 'menu'.. then use the menu button again to select >Local Folder. Find and highlight the song you want to play and hit 'menu' one more time. It should return to the music player with that song ready to play... then just hit 'play'.

There are no 'firmware upgrades' that will make it faster. What you have is all you'll be able to use with that player so please do not try to flash any other version to it. It will seriously disable your player. It's firmware version is 9.0.50 and that cannot be extracted, modified or even upgraded as yet unless the factory releases a new version specifically for that player... which is highly unlikely.
