Default Help with converting to AMV using converter 4.0x

I am using an mp4 player with 2.2" LCD screen. I have tried using the 4.03 - 4.09 AVI converter but the result is the same, that is :

the audio seems to play faster than the video and the video seems to be very jittery.

I tried to convert my WMV files into the AMV files but none of them succeed. I think the problem is not in my mp4 player because when played in windows, the output result is the same bad quality.

What can I do? please help..

About audio coming faster than video, try to convert your movie with a lower screen size.

About wmv, I don't know what could be, but try to convert it to another format before converting it to amv (I know it would lose quality, but you might be facing a problem converting wmvs to amv).

How do I convert to wmv to another format? I tried converting it to AVI using avi converter that is given by rock chip solution. but when I tried to convert the converted AVI to AMV, it says error.

Using lower screen resolutions means i am watching small movie on a big screen... anyway, I tried converting the wmv to 160x120 using 3.xx converter and it works fine, no audio problem. Then i convert the same wmv file using the same size 160 x 120 using 4.05 converter, it has the audio problem....

Not all MP4 can play a video in "full screen" (using all screen size)...
I've never heard about this version problem. Maybe using a newer version? Have you tried v4.09? not sure if there is any newer... there might have been a bug on v4.05....

Thank you for the advice. Infact I have been using version 4.09 all along. I know my problem is with WMV file. I tried using mpg, avi and mov file.. they are fine.. except...

Can you help me to explain why the movies are jittery?(the sound are fine now). They are like not smooth. It will jitter every 2 - 3 seconds.

One more thing, whenever I convert VOB file from my dvd, it will Fail. an error message says Success 0, faile 1. and it says error to convert.

I have installed all the required decode given in the cd and i have chosen the right vob file but it just fails. what can be the reason?
