Default Apple iPod Batteries

Greetings guys, do you have any idea if the iPod Nano batteries will work with the ChiPods (FMP from Uxcell for example). If so, where is a good place to get some of those?

Cheers,

PiN

MojoPiN , usually these ipod batteries would work properly with your player. But you'll need to open your player and measure the maximum allowed space for it.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Awesome, I will give it a shot, thanks for the reply. Is there any saldering involved in the process or any chance that a certain battery would fry the player? Where's a good place to get an iPod battery? Geez, sorry for all the questions, it's exciting to know you can mod these little guys.

Yes, you would have to solder it.

MojoPiN , there are many places that sell the replacement batteries. But the easiest & cheapest would be from eBay, though some are not very good and you still end up only getting about 1-2hours playtime.

The nano batteries r to big 4 the FMP, but good 4 the i platinuim. I think it will be a problem to find an alternative 4 the FMP as the battery space is quite small. Still looking though...........

I wouldn't recommend buying from digi street from ebay. I purchased a battery from digistreet and it was estimated to give me 3/4 hours of continuous music and I only get 1hr.
