Default Theming Firmware on V9.0.5 Chip

I have an mp4 player with a V9.0.5 chip, and I want to mod it.
I already have the .bin file.
How can I put it in my player?

Thanks a lot

If you extracted your firmware (dump.bin) on s1fwx, that doesnt work (And dont even think to use it to recover your dead player). S1FWF doesnt support firmwares up to v9.x.xx. You see the many errors in S1FWX program, they are exrtraction problems in s1fwx. You have to wait new version of S1FWX and S1RES (modification tool) to modify your firmware. I have same firmware as you, and Im waiting all the time to revome the stupid chinese flower theme.

I have the .bin file from cd, it's not extracted from the player.
Again: Can I put my .bin file inside the player?

Edit: The answer is: Yes!!!!!!
I will put the video of my modded mp4 player in 1 or 2 days.
I'm sooooo happy

Sh@bi , would you be willing to upload a copy of that original firmware to this site?
Although the chances are small it may help someone else recover thier dead player that uses version 9.0.50. (if thats what version you have)

I'm interested in seeing what kind of player you have that came with a copy of it's firmware on cd.

cheers

lesmo_sft , not all fw 9.0.50 are the same. Just because your and Sh@bi's player uses 9.0.50 doesn't mean his firmware will be compatible in your player. I suggest you not try to upload any version of 9.0.50 to your player. So.. leave it,.. if you flash Sh@bi's firmware to your player it won't work anymore.

Thanks for answering a question before asking it

After a gone to sleep, i begun to think about that... So, thanks anyway...

But I'm very inpatient... when the programs to dump and mod the firmware compatible with 9.0.5 firmwares will come up ?

EDITED: (because I don't know if doble posting is allowed)
I found this tool in the MyMPxPlayer page.

Can I use the extracted BIN to mod and backup (if something weird happends to my player)???

lesmo_sft , the ATJUpload software seems to work with certain players, but not all. You'll need to try extracting and see if it is able to extract your current firmware.

If it is able to do so, then you can mod the theme with S1res.
