Lots of unbranded Rockchip players don't have a backup firmware at all, so an extractor would help a lot of people rescue dead players if they have already flashed the WRONG firmware.
Not sure if "dancemammal" will add any extra bits to the firmware editor, but it would be nice if we could add new features. :wink:

Hi knob.
Help me upgrading my mp4plaer, like teclast c260 (hundreds of different ressellers with the same product). i downloaded the firmware but i have a blank screen, i tried 3 times with different software and it didn't worked. now i cannot get it in upgrade mode to install possibly good firmware.
chipset is rockchip 2608a, board id is mp4-962fr-v1.0 . help me please, i'm stuck.
