How can I completely remove the corrupted files

Ok...My mp4 player was working just fine until when I went and tried to transfer 1.36 gb worth of movie from my computer to my laptop..When I tried to move in laptop it says couldnt move it..File was corrupted. I also check the movies size and it was still 1.36gb..So I deelted the file and when I hit refresh the file comes back with o bytes in it and I cannot get my 1.36gb memory back =(, I also had this other corrupted file..and this movie now, I only have about 41mb left but the songs left in my nano clone works just fine. So how can i completely remove the corrupted files and get my space back. Thanks helps will be appreciated.

Fool123,

I hate that when it happens to me... and mostly large video files too.
The only solution i've found so far is to backup all the files that are not corrupted and format the player. I'm currently on the lookout for a program that may be able to recover those files

Fool123 , the only solution to your problem would be to format it using Disk Tools. The symptoms fit fully for a hacked memory chip. So i'll suggest formatting it, frequent memory corruption like what you are experiencing is not "good" for the player, as it increases the chance of firmware corruption. Which leads to a bricked player.

The guide to formatting is here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html
