Firmware Font

Since the firmware (of im assuming) all the MP4 players include a bmp image of the font to be used, I was wondering if it was as simple as replacing all of the text with a text of your own, on the same bmp and just updating your firmware with the new image(s). I would assume that you would not want any anti aliasing. Thanks!

high6ix , pretty much yes. You'll need to replace the entire font bitmap image to your own fonts. It would be the same as firmware theming. However, if your firmware version is above v9.0.43, then you can't do so.

ok so if i were to edit my extracted font bmp image, do the fonts have to be "clean" and "contrasted" or can the be anti alias and smooth on the edges (sort of blurred)... do u get me???
