Default Chipod newbie

Hey all. i just recieved a mp4 nano wannabe (apparently named chipod) its 1gb. i dont know whether i can put video's on it easily. Apparently a friend of mine changed the firmware on his so it looke different, but that wasn't a chipod... If anyone can tell me anything about anything it would be appreciated... Nothing is too obvious!!!

nanotech , does it come with any demo video in it? You can check the file extension easily if it has one.

The player functions just like a USB thumbdrive. So plugging it in, Windows would detect it and the drive appears in My Computer. File management is just a simple drag & drop issue.

For videos, if it is amv format, you'll need MP3 Utilities to convert the videos into .amv format.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

you can put videos on it very easily, just get a converter. i dont have any of the mp3 utitilities to recomend to you because i don't know the size of ur LCD screen. Is it 1.5 or 1.8?
If your player's screen is exacly square then it's 1.5, but if the screen's long it's 1.8
