My player's volume won't go past 32

I must admit it's a comfortable volume, but sometimes i'd like to go crazy and go higher. Can anyone identify the player and say if there's a firmware update or a workaround to the volume limit?

It's a 1GB mp4 player that says "Digital Video Player" on it's front, has dual USB/MTP data transfer support, MTV video and an FM radio.

stlolth , i'm afraid not. Almost all 'chipods' and generic mp4 players that play AMV videos only have a top volume of 31 or 32 (although i've never seen any that make it to 32). My player only goes up to 31 and thats full blast. Theres no firmware 'update' that can change this. Although if you can theme your firmware, you might be able to change it to read incrementally 10,20,30 all the way up to 100. But this won't change the sound level.

To get your volume higher you could always use a program that can process your music and change its amplitude, but you risk creating distortion. Thats getting a bit technical though.

Hi, don't know if you've tried this or not from a previous post, download audacity from download.com and increase the amplitude. Most programs ruin the track by doing this and it goes all crackly and distorted but this program doesn't I've sped up songs and increased the amp with no distortion and no problems.
