My Player "Sony MP4 player" PMA300_010 2006/03/15 3.5.37 2006/07/20 thanks |
Nitinkumar, i'd say it's your memory that is having a problem, not your firmware. Don't 'update' that firmware or you could disable your player and you'll have no music at all.
You should format your player and see if that helps and check out the "How to Remove Memory Hack" tutorial here > http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html Know this... the firmware is the last thing you should consider doing something to when you have problems with mp4 players. |
i have done the process as per you. player is formated as well as i have updated the firmware but i have lost all menu. there is no display on it its just black.
Now what should i do???? |
I don't believe this...
The menu is missing because you put the wrong firmware in your player! It's now dead. I did not say to update the firmware. Did you do that before or after my advice? Now go back to the download section http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-3537-dc16.html and try every 3.5.37 or nearest firmware... maybe one will restore your player.. maybe |
upgrade is sucessfull but there is nothing on screen its black
|
If the screen is black, then it wasn't 'successful' was it?
The program 'successfully' uploaded the firmware that much is certain, but it's not successful if it's the wrong firmware. |
WHEN I PUSHED ANY BUTTONS ON IT, IT HAS RECORDED THE VOICE AND CREAT A FINE IN ITS FOLDER. SCREEN HAS SOME LIGHT ON IT BUT TO IMAGE. JUST A BLUIES LIGHT ON ITS SCREEN. I WILL SEND THE SCREEN PRINT OF PLAYER FOLDER AS WELL AS UPDATER SHOWING SUCESSFUL THROUGH EMAIL

That won't be neccessary but maybe i'm not explaining myself clearly... Your pogram says it has been "Successfully" updated. If it was it would be working perfectly. It isn't working properly so it wasn't "Successful" The software is not at fault. The problem is that you have flashed the wrong firmware to it. The program will update it and say it's successful but if the firmware isn't the absolute correct version it won't work as you want it to. The firmware you used to 'update' your player with doesn't have a few neccessary files to operate it correctly. Or the wrong code. It's like building a car and forgetting to put wheels on it. It will start, use fuel, change gear, the wipers work and everything but it's not going to go anywhere. What you need to do now is find the right firmware. |
Re: mp4 firmware update.
Dude, you killed your MP3 player. Time to buy a new one. You can take it apart and play with the chip, but it's dead. I speak from experience. Don't update the firmware unless you absolutely know that the batch number on the microchip matches the firmware, and even then it's dangerous. I killed a chinese mp3 player by updating the firmware. Sorry. No hope.
