That won't be neccessary but maybe i'm not explaining myself clearly...
Your pogram says it has been "Successfully" updated. If it was it would be working perfectly. It isn't working properly so it wasn't "Successful"
The software is not at fault. The problem is that you have flashed the wrong firmware to it. The program will update it and say it's successful but if the firmware isn't the absolute correct version it won't work as you want it to.
The firmware you used to 'update' your player with doesn't have a few neccessary files to operate it correctly. Or the wrong code.
It's like building a car and forgetting to put wheels on it. It will start, use fuel, change gear, the wipers work and everything but it's not going to go anywhere. :roll:
What you need to do now is find the right firmware.
