cobra98 , you will need S1fwx v3.1 or v3.2 to dump the v9.0.43 firmware. v3.0 which was what you used, does not support v9.0.43 at all.

You cannot extract v9.0.50 as none of these tools support this version yet.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

Default Re: Which firmware to flash

Hi,
Version 3 seemed to extract half of it,
Version 3.2 gave only an info and then said with both devices
-> unsupported ... where do i get 3.1?

Which Software should i use for converting/flashing?
I have the Mp3 Player Utilies 4 installed, which converts Videos to amv very well ... but Formating always gives me the message "unsupported device", formatting with windows to FAT works

The device with the 9.0.0.50 version is missing games and radio (which is described in the manual), also it keeps rebooting sometimes ...
(unstable)
To load it wasn't so easy ... i used the device for loading from my other player that worked, the loading the plug attached to this device didn't do the job ...

So i really think of updating it, because i think its a wrong/faulty 9.0.0.50
because of missing "games" ...

Is it possible to install games to it? Phonebook is supported too?

Thanks for help :-)

cobra98, i think i'm starting to see your problem.

Why don't you just contact your seller and tell him that your new players don't have the features you wanted?

If you kill your players because of flashing wrong firmware you won't get a refund or replacement.

lol cobra you seem a idiot , ive just scanend down the page , every time someone suggest somthing you try to convice people otherwise that its the right thing to do , If you want to flash the firmware and brick your player , go ahead , see what happens..

Radio cannot be a feature that you can get , a player will have the radio feature in the menu if there is a radio cghip instaklled , there isnt a radio feature ebcause the chip isnt installed.

games :

you can possible get new games but the chances are you wont get any , if your current firmware has none on it its likley that there is other suitable fiormwares for your player that dont have games built in either , look , your just gonn kill your plaeyr if yu flash firmware oto it , and the games are shitty anyway , there i no point in doing it , so dont
