mmagd,

No. It's never a good idea to attempt to put a different version of firmwre in your player because even though 3.5.37 may look alot like 3.5.35. They are really different in 'programming'.

Best leave it running your current 3.5.35.

However if you have a theme thats been made for 3.5.37 and would like to adapt that for 3.5.35, maybe you can use s1res to take the images from 37 and import them into a backup of your own firmware 35. That way you are using your own firmware with the new images.

Hope that makes sense

3.5.37 will not be compatible with your player.
You should take note that the firmware on this forum is only there for 'dead' player recovery.
Not all firmware will replace another. If your players firmware doesn't support file browsing then thats the way it was meant to be.

The only way you can 'update' the player to support file browsing is to get a genuine update for that player only.

I'm going to take a risk and make a suggestion. fw v3.5.35 can be sucessfully backed up using s1fwx. What i would do is make a backup of that and then try to find a 3.5.37 that is compatible with the player. In this case if the new firmware was wrong and it bricked the player, it could be restored using the backup. You may not find one thats fully compatible though.

I would recommend buying a new mp4 player that does have file browsing.
