Right Chipset, Wrong Freespace
Hi everyone, I'm a new from Italy...
I have a problem... Following your guide, i found that my 2Gb player have 233Mb of available space, but opening it i found a chipset: SAMSUNG K9WAG08U1A (16GigaBit) = 2GB So, have I an hacked chinapod or is there any other problem :?: :?: |
maeg-ras , i'll suggest you repeat the format procedure using Disk Tools again, guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html
There are a few reasons for what you are experiencing: 1. Incorrect formatting using Disk Tools (encryption not set to zero). 2. Wrong serial number printed by Samsung on memory chip. 3. Serial number deliberately modified by manufacturers/sellers. |
Ya its hacked I think. If you bought it from a store ask for a refund..if you bought from like ebay or online store, It will be hard for you to get refund.
And 16 gigabit = 2gb doesnt necessarily means it will have 2gb instead of 16gb. Its hacked so they can hack any kind of mp4 and make it look like it has tons of space. |
I'll try to repeat the formatting, also if I just done it twice...
If not, luckly, i bought it form a PC shop... I'll ask them explanations.. I like to see them faces ^^ Thanks a lot to all (and sorry for my bad english) |
