Default Formatting Player Question

What happens if I format my player using windows? Do I need to reinstall it's firmware after I format it?

My problem is I can create folders in windows but when I check it up in my player, it dosen't show. Any solutions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Spikeia , formating of the memory would not do anything to the player's firmware as the firmware is stored in the processor's ROM instead.

Have you stored any files in those folders you create? Usually these players would not show the folders until you store playable media files in them.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
